As many of y'all no doubt know, the confirmation hearings for Judge Samuel Alito are starting on Monday, January 9, 2006. Think there's nothing you can do to affect the ultimate outcome? Well, think again, my friends! For those of you in Los Angeles County, a lunchtime rally will be held outside the US District Courthouse:
