The Name's Hackett... Paul Hackett

I looked up "After Hours" on IMDB the other day... one of Martin Scorsese's lesser known gems, a very dark, funny and disturbing film.

And so I discovered that the main character's name is Paul Hackett, as in Paul Hackett of Ohio, near-winner in OH-2 and currently running for the U.S. Senate.

And then I got curious and looked further: Seems there have been 4 movie characters named Paul Hackett, including.... get this.... a Major Paul Hackett in the movie "Extreme Prejudice".

And then I got curiouser and looked even further: A French movie named "Les Clowns de Dieu" (The Clowns of God) was directed by a Jean Schmidt. Well, not that Jean Schmidt, but The Clowns of God... you can't make this stuff up.

And just for final good measure, the 1931 movie "The Ruling Voice" had a character named Dick Cheney. Foreshadowing.... undoubtedly.
